H Ρένα Αβαγιανού γεννήθηκε, ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα.
Σπουδές:
1993-1998 Ζωγραφική στην Aνώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Αθήνας εργαστήριο Δ.Κοκκινίδη, Χαρακτική στο εργαστήριο του Γ.Μήλιου.
Είναι απόφοιτητη της Αρχιτεκτονικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης (1991).
Τo 1993 παρακολούθησε εξαμινιαίο μεταπτυχικο σεμινάριο βιομηχανικού σχεδιασμού στον Ε.Ο.Μ.Μ.Ε.Χ.
Παρακολούθησε σειρά μεταπτυχιακών σεμιναρίων Art therapy στο κέντρο Τέχνης και Ψυχοθεραπείας.
Επαγγελματική δραστηριότητα:
Από το 2000 ως σήμερα, διδάσκει ως Εικαστικός στην Δευτεροβάθμια Εκπαίδευση.
Από 1997-2000 δίδαξε στο τμήμα Γραφικών τεχνών των Ι.Ε.Κ. Ξυνή. Εργάστηκε σαν αρχιτέκτονας και σαν βιομηχανικός σχεδιαστής.
Έργα της χρησιμοποιήθηκαν στα εξώφυλλα των cd του συγκροτήματος Sigmatropic: “Ours at Least”, (Μάρτιος 2007) και “Dark Outside’', (Σεπτέμβριος 2007), καθώς και σε αφίσες του συγκροτήματος.

Rena Avayianou was born in Athens, where she still lives and works.
1993-1998 she studied painting in Fine Arts School of Athens under the supervision of prof. D.Kokkinidis and engraving under the supervision of prof. G.Milios. She gratued in 1999.
1984-1989 she studied Architecture at the Aristoteles university of Thessaloniki. She gratued in 1991.
1993 She followed a six mounth duration post-graduate seminar organised by the Greek centre of Design(EOMMEX)

Employment History
Since the year 2000 she has been appointed as Teacher of Painting and Visual Arts in the Secondary Education( Gymnasium and Lyceum).
Between the years 1997-2000 as instructor of Fine Arts in private educational organizations.
Between the years 1989-1997 she has been employed as an architect and as industrial designer in the private sector.
She has provided original art work for the band Sigmatropic: " Ours at Least,(March 2007) and "Dark outside" (September 2007) as well as posters of the same band.
